Greetings and Welcome to the official website of the Roanoke Rapids (NC)
Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I am Jerry Simmons &
I currently serve as the chapter's Polemarch. The Roanoke Rapids (NC)
Alumni Chapter was chartered on February 12, 2006. Our chapter is a staple
and a breath of fresh air in the Roanoke Valley.
We strive to follow our founders' vision, & constantly follow our motto;
“Achievement In Every Field Of Human Endeavor." Our chapter has been
devoted to serving our community through programs such as the Guide Right
program with Roanoke Valley youth. We have hosted various events, seminars,
and round-table conversations with civil organizations on topics such as
Health Care, Money Management, Parenting, and more.

Mental Health Symposium 2026
The Roanoke Rapids NC Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. cordially invites you all to our 2nd Annual Mental Health Symposium on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10am - 12 noon. This event will be held at Northampton County High School. We will have speakers discussing mental health issues, diabetes, bone marrow, prostate and other health issues that we face. Everyone is invited.
